I am 5 Years Old Print

$150.00

"I am 5 Years Old Today" centers on the carved reproduction of a drawing by a 5 year old girl who was imprisoned for 10 months at an ICE concentration camp in Dilley, Texas. Her drawing was released by her family's attorney, Eric Lee. The family includes five children, ages 18, 16, 9, and 5-year-old twins, and their mother, Hayam El Gamal. After being released by ICE, they were re-detained in May 2026. As of June 2026, they have again been released and returned to their Colorado Springs community. Since 2025, 6,200 children have been detained by ICE, the vast majority never having committed a crime or been given due process, and many being subjected to cruel and inhumane conditions. The El Gamal family, like thousands more,  have suffered tremendously: horrific medical neglect, being served rotting food and impotable water, hateful disrespect for their Muslim faith, and the unthinkable, unrecoverable loss of childhood innocence. The proceeds of this print will directly support the El Gamal family.

All proceeds go to the family’s gofundme. Hand printed. 10”X15”.
